Man Meadow czyli duet dwóch Szwedów Fredrika Olofssona i Niklasa Vestberga. Obaj są zafascynowani tańcem i realizują swoją pasję od najmłodszych lat.

Fredrik współpracował z szwedzkim zespołem After Dark, został też dostrzeżony przez szwedzką telewizję Kanal 5, gdzie zagrał w serialu. Od 2000 roku bierze udział w Melodifestivalen (szwedzkich preselekcjach do Eurowizji) w chórkach, pracował też z Enrique Iglesiasem.

Niklas otrzymał solidne wykształcenie muzyczne, następnie występował w musicalach. Jednocześnie studiował dziennikarstwo oraz komunikację medialną.

Kompozytor tego utworu - Thomas G:son (wł. Gustafsson) to szwedzki gitarzysta i kompozytor. Jak dotąd napisał łącznie 27 piosenek do szwedzkich preselekcji oraz 13 do preselekcji w innych krajach (Norwegia, Finlandia, Łotwa, Rumunia i Hiszpania). Jest autorem lub współautorem m.in. utworów „Listen to your hearbeat” i „Invincible”, które zajęły dla Szwecji 5. miejsca odpowiednio w 2001 i 2006 roku. W 2007 roku jego piosenki były prezentowane w Helsinkach przez reprezentantów Norwegii (półfinał) i Hiszpanii (finał). Mimo doświadczeń z muzyką hard rockową w latach 90 - tych, jego piosenki mają charakterystyczne szwedzkie brzmienie, którego najlepiej znanymi przykładami są utwory grupy ABBA.

In November 2005, Carola confirmed that she would participate in Melodifestivalen again, after a fifteen year absence. In the Gothenburg semi-final, held on March 11, 2006, she performed “Evighet” (Eternity), written by Thomas G:son, Bobby Ljunggren and Henrik Wikström. Her performance involved wind machines, dancers with flags and fireworks. In the final, Carola came second in the jury votes and placed first in the public televote, so overall she won the final of Melodifestivalen 2006 and became the representant for Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athens. She performed a reprise of her song half in English (using the title “Invincible”) and half in Swedish. Prior to the competition, she was the favourite singer in Ireland’s Paddy Power betting at 11-4.

In May 2006, Carola came in 5th in the Eurovision Song Contest with her song “Invincible”. She was just a few points from 4th place, which Romania claimed, and only 8 points ahead of Lithuania in 6th. Interestingly she not only ended up at the same place, but also received exactly the same number of points in the final (170) as Sweden’s 2004 representative Lena Philipsson (also born 1966).

It has been rumoured that she will again enter the Melodifestivalen in 2008 alongside Elena Paparizou, winner of the Eurovision 2005 Contest.

Sanna Nielsen (born 27 November 1984) is a Swedish singer. She comes from Bromölla in Skåne, Southern Sweden.

Som 17-åring deltog Nielsen i Melodifestivalen 2001 med sången Igår, idag, där hon blev trea. Hon deltog också i Melodifestivalen 2003 då hon blev femma med sången Hela världen för mig som sedan låg 35 veckor på Svensktoppen. Tillsammans med Fredrik Kempe deltog hon i Melodifestivalen 2005 med sången Du och jag mot världen där de i den svenska finalen hamnade på åttonde plats. 2007 ställde hon än en gång upp i Melodifestivalen, med melodin Vågar du, vågar jag, som tog sig vidare till finalen i Globen och slutade på sjunde plats med sina 44 poäng.

Noterbart är att alla gånger Nielsen sjungit i Melodifestivalen har hon tagit sig till final.

At the age of eleven she reached the number one spot on the Svensktoppen Charts with the song Till en fågel. She participated in Melodifestivalen 2001 singing Igår, idag, which finished 3rd. Nielsen returned to Melodifestivalen again in 2003 with Hela världen för mig which finished 5th, and again in 2005 with Du och jag mot världen, a duet with Fredrik Kempe, which finished 8th.

On the 3d of March in 2007, she participated in Melodifestivalen again in with Vågar du, vågar jag. During the Second Chance round, the song qualyfied for the final in Stockholm Globen Arena on the 10th of March 2007, where the song ended up at 7th place after the final of Melodifestivalen 2007.

Sanna will participate in Melodifestivalen 2008, where she’ll sing an entry called “Empty Room”, written and composed by Bobby Ljunggren and Aleena Gibson.
